Prayer Line Ministries

The Prayer Line ministry consists of five teams that pray twice a week for all requests given through the Sunday morning services and people who call in special concerns. The goal of the ministry is to intercede on behalf of others. The prayer committee helps with healing services and sets up a prayer chapel twice a year for special events. Several teams are praying with the pastors before Sunday services. We are looking for volunteers to be part of the prayer team so the program can be expanded to visiting and praying with shut-ins and people in the hospital. Yearly meetings are held to discuss the goals and ministry of the prayer line.

Knit and Pray

The Knit and Pray Girlfriend Knitting Group meets Monday Nights at Grace, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The goal of this ministry will be to use our talents to make scarves to keep people warm. We knit our prayers into the scarves to bless those who receive them. On each scarf we put this blessing “May you be cradled in hope, kept in joy, graced with peace and wrapped in love”. We have given over 160 scarves to the homeless. We need all ladies who love to knit. Invite your girlfriends, bring your yarn and join in the fun. If you need help learning to knit help will be available. Anyone wishing to donate yarn can drop the yarn off at the church office.

Health and Healing Team

This team is for people in health care professions. They do monthly blood pressure checks and yearly Health Fair.
